Vision

The SSPH+ is the national coordinating body for seven universities in the fields of public health and health economics. It works to ensure the highest academic standards and contributes to developing public health promotion and health care.



Mission

The SSPH+ spreads knowledge, skills and competence in public health and health economics. It encourages new types of cooperation and programmes that train specialists to cope with the increasing complexities of health systems and to create practical new solutions for current problems. The courses offered should increase contact between the different professions and create a public health culture in which the actors in different fields know each other personally and are able to work together effectively.



Objectives

In the fields of public health and health economics, the SSPH+:

- Promotes and develops attractive yet demanding postgraduate research programmes for people working in the health system.

- Strengthens integrated approaches at all postgraduate levels.

- Specifically promotes research related to the health system.

- Promotes events and other opportunities for discussion and reflection and the spread of knowledge.

- Informs the media and the public about important topics and is an important source of health sector information.

- Forms international links and formalises the co-operation with other schools.

- Promotes quality in teaching and research.
